1796 Castorland Medal or Jeton, Silver
Breen-1062, W-9135, R.6. First Paris Mint restrike from the original dies. The reverse die is buckled near the S in PARENS, and an area of die rust is in the reverse field above the vessel. Barely rubbed on the highpoints with several mint-made lintmarks visible on each side, and a single tiny abrasion on the portrait's chin. The surfaces display sunset-red and gold toning at the peripheral areas. Listed on page 73 of the 2013 Guide Book. (PCGS 653)
