Naturalistically worked in the form of the mythical fish with intricately work ed scales, flanked by a pair of fins ending in a barbed tail, the creature hollow with its mouth wide open beneath two pointed horns above its head.
15.8cm long.

    The form of the makara is an ancient one, and can be seen on ceramic figures of makara recovered from the 10th century Cirebon shipwreck off the coast of Java.
