A jade 'dragon' snuff bottle
Qing dynasty, 1770-1830
Finely worked in oval form with cylindrical straight neck, the body carved with a dragon thrashing amongst dense swirling waves worked in intricate lines, the stone of a pale green colour.
6.3cm high.
