A very rare Sèvres ochre-ground part tea service, circa 1808
Decorated in Etruscan style in black with palmette and foliate scrollwork borders, gilt-edged rims, the handles and spout gilt, comprising:
a teapot and cover,
a slop bowl,
a sugar bowl,
a milk jug,
two cups and saucers, the teapot and cover: 16.3cm high, 'M.Imp le/ de Sevres' and an arrow-head stencilled in iron-red, incised marks (sugar bowl handles damaged and cover lacking (9)
