Daniel Whitby [1637/81726] issued in November 1682 a pamphlet entitled Protestant Reconciler, Humbly Pleading for Condescention to Dissenting Brethren, in which he argued that certain strictly-imposed ceremonies were creating a schism in the Church and should be abolished. Wing T1098.
Loosely inserted is a 4-page disbound small folio resolution listing The Rates of the Excise or New-Impost ... on the Several Commodities Imported (London: Edward Field for Edward Husband, 1649), paginated 639-642 pp.
