Main title printed in red and black, sectional titles, decorative headpieces. Without license leaf, browning to title and prelims, some toning and scattered foxing, boards rubbed.

FIRST EDITION. Torriano had published abbreviated versions in 1642 and 1649, with none of the anecdotes and extended explanations in the present volume. Wing T1928.
