1988 Beta 250cc TR34 Monoshock Trials
Frame no. 0007
Engine no. 0007
Established as a bicycle manufacturer in 1904 Beta began producing motorcycles in 1948, introducing their first trials machine in 1983. Swiftly on the pace in this ultra competitive arena their Spanish "works" rider, Jodi Torres, rode a mono-shock Beta to his first World Championship. In UK, meanwhile, Beta evolved very strong links with the irrepressible Lampkin family. This tidy example has been in the vendor's collection since 2006 but, despite the fact that he is still an active competitor, it has remained unused, needing to be sold for reasons of space. Complete with 35mm Marzocchi forks, original mudguards, and with plenty of tyre tread, the Beta is ready to use, subject to the usual mechanical checks. Offered without documentation.
