Garelli's split-single two-stroke stayed true to its maker's original conception until production ceased in the mid-1930s. The machine offered here is typical of the post-WWI design complete with magneto in front of the cylinders, integral two-speed gearbox - the latter a simplified version of that designed by Adalberto Garelli for Bianchi – and chain final drive. This machine incorporates features of both the Turismo and Gran Sport models, boasting the former's foot boards and valanced mudguards, and the latter's sports handlebars. Note the absent front brake, which would not be standard equipment for another year or so. Interestingly, there are two brakes pedals – one on either side – both of which operate the rear drum brake.

Le deux temps deux cylindres à chambre commune de Garelli conserva le principe de fonctionnement original de son créateur jusqu'à la fin de la production au milieu des années 1930. La moto proposée ici est caractéristique du modèle d'après la Première Guerre mondiale avec sa magnéto placée en avant des cylindres, sa boîte intégrale à deux rapports - cette dernière étant une version simplifiée de la boîte conçue par Adalberto Garelli pour Bianchi et sa transmission finale à chaîne. Cette machine comporte des caractéristiques à la fois des modèles Turismo et Gran Sport dont les repose-pieds trottoirs et les garde-boue à joues des premiers et le guidon sport des seconds. On notera l'absence d'un frein avant qui fut encore en option pendant un an ou deux. Détail curieux : il existe deux pédales de frein une de chaque côté qui actionnent le frein arrière.
