Royal Enfield revived the Bullet name in 1948 for a sensational new 350 sports bike with swinging-arm rear suspension. The newcomer featured an overhead-valve engine that housed its dry-sump oil tank in a compartment in the rear of the crankcase, to which the four-speed gearbox was rigidly bolted in a form of semi-unitary construction. Production of both the 350cc and 500cc Bullets ceased in 1962, though the model was already being manufactured under licence in India where it continues in production in much-improved form today. The Indian Bullets were marketed under the 'Enfield' name at first before the company acquired the rights to the 'Royal Enfield' title in 1995. This Indian-manufactured Bullet is offered with copies of its UK V5 registration documents and Certificat de Cession d'un Vehicle.

Royal Enfield ressuscita l'appellation Bullet en 1948 pour désigner une sensationnelle et nouvelle moto de sport 350 cm3 dotée d'une suspension arrière oscillante. Le nouvelle machine était caractérisée par un moteur à soupapes en tête et carter sec qui intégrait un réservoir d'huile à l'arrière du carter sur lequel la boîte à quatre rapports était fixée rigidement selon une sorte de semi montage en bloc. La production des Bullet 350 et 500 cm3 cessa en 1962, mis le type continua d'être fabriqué sous licence en Inde où il est toujours produit de nos jours dans une version très modernisée. Les Bullet indiennes furent commercialisée initialement sous la marque « Enfield » avant que la firme ne devînt propriétaire des droits d'exploitation de la marque « Royal Enfield » en 1995. Cette Bullet indienne est offerte avec une copie de ses documents d'immatriculation britanniques V5 et le Certificat de Cession d'un Véhicule français.
