Introduced at the 1927 Motor Cycle Show, the ES2 sports roadster used the Model 18's overhead-valve engine in the cradle frame of the overhead-camshaft CS1, and from then onwards the 'ES2' designation was always applied to Norton's top-of-the-range overhead-valve single. The ES2 was built in several versions during a production run lasting until 1963, though the engine dimensions of 79x100mm bore/stroke - first adopted in 1911 - remained unchanged to the end. Post-war developments included the adoption of the Roadholder telescopic front fork (1947), an alloy cylinder head (1955), alternator electrics (1959) and the slim-line version of the Featherbed frame (1961). An older restoration, this ES2 is offered with French Carte Grise normale. It should be noted that the engine number has been re-stamped.

Introduite au Motor Cycle Show de Londres en 1927, la routière sport ES2 utilisait le moteur de la Model 18 à soupapes en tête dans le cadre berceau de la CS1 à ACT et depuis cette date, la désignation « ES2 » fut toujours appliquée aux monocylindres culbutés haut de gamme de Norton. L'ES2 produite en plusieurs versions vécut jusqu'en 1963, mais les cotes d'alésage et de course 79 x 100 mm datant de 1911 ne changèrent jamais. Les modernisations d'après guerre concernèrent le montage d'une fourche avant télescopique Roadholder (1947), d'une culasse en aluminium (1966), d'un alternateur (1959) et d'une version plus étroite du cadre Featherbed (1961). Anciennement restaurée, cette ES2 est offerte avec sa carte grise française normale. On notera que le numéro du moteur a été refrappé.
