Previously known as 'Prester-Jonghi', Jonghi dislayed a 125cc four-stroke single at the Paris Salon in 1948 but the bulk of the company's post-war production was of two-stroke models such as the H54T offered here (the 'Prester' name had been dropped after WW2). Introduced in 1954, the H54T was a twin-port single derived from Jonghi's first post-war 250, the Model H of 1951, and was broadly similar apart from its telescopic front fork, which replaced the H's trailing-link type. A maximum power output of 9bhp and a top speed of around 60mph were claimed. Its sales hit by a widespread switch to small, cheap cars such as the Citroën 2CV, Motos Jonghi ceased production in 1957. The machine is offered with French Carte Grise de collection and a copy of the Certificat de Cession d'un Vehicle dated November 2000.

Création d'un ingénieur italien émigré en France, Jonghi en difficultés se retrouva fin 1936 associée à la marque Prester. Au Salon de Paris 1948, Jonghi présenta une monocylindre quatre temps de 125 cm3 mais le gros de la production après 1945 concerna des modèles à moteur deux temps comme la H54 T proposée ici. (La marque Prester-Jonghi fut abandonnée après la Seconde Guerre mondiale). Introduite en 1954, la H54 T était une monocylindre à deux lumières dérivée de la première 250 Jonghi d'après guerre , la Modèle H de1951, dont elle était très proche sauf la fourche télescopique qui remplaçait la fourche à roue tirée de la « H ». Avec une puissance maximale de 9 ch, la vitesse de pointe était de 96 km/h environ. Les ventes souffrirent de la concurrence des nouvelles petites voitures économiques comme la 2 CV et Jonghi arrêta sa production en 1957. Cette moto est proposée avec sa carte grise française de collection et une copie du Certificat de Cession d'un Véhicule en date de novembre 2000.
