A white jade belthook

The jade ornament finely worked with long curved body and circular knop at the underside, extending to an upturned dragon head, a chi dragon with bifurcated tail intercoiled within leafy vines clambering atop the body on all fours greeting the mythical beast, fitted to and comprising the handle of a magnifying glass.

- 清乾隆 白玉帶鉤嵌銅鎏金凸透鏡
鏡柄由白玉帶鉤改制而成，龍首為鉤首，凸眼張口，雙角後抿。鉤身成琵琶形，上浮雕一口銜靈芝螭龍匍匐而行，龍尾分卷，頭與鉤首的龍首相對，為玉帶鉤常見「蒼龍教子」題材。鉤身下有一圓形鉤鈕，上嵌銅鎏金鏡柄，鏡柄套住鉤首組成圓形鏡框。
此白玉帶鉤玉質肥潤，而其銅鎏金及凸透鏡鑲嵌工藝則可能是由後期西洋改製而成，另說由中國工匠用舊器改製後並出口西洋。
