Late Ming dynasty The rectangular concaved base rising gently on curved sides ending in a domed cover, both lipped rims fitted securely atop grooved steps at the inside, the four sides fastened tightly at the corners, the underside of the cover with another recessed rectangular platform, all undecorated revealing the attractive wood grain. 15.2cm wide.
