Of ovoid form decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt on a clear crackle glaze with a profusion of multicolored peonies with butterflies, the white enamel of moriage, the shoulder with a floral band and the foot with a simulated balustrade with panels of stylized shishi between geometric bands, the cover similarly decorated with blossoms, surmounted by a chrysanthemum finial, signed on the underside in gilt Yabu Meizan 13 1/4in (34cm) high
