The kinji ground decorated with an umbrella maker and his assistant at work, the reverse with two figures attempting to retrieve their umbrellas after a gust of wind scattered them, inlaid in mother-of-pearl, stained ivory and coconut shell; with an ivory manju netsuke carved with a stylized shishi, utensils and scrolls with flowers and roundels with mother-of-pearl inlay 3 7/8in (9.7cm) high
