A George III mahogany tall case clock
late 18th century
The hood with swan's neck pediment over a glazed door opening to a painted dial with Roman and Arabic chapter ring and subsidiary seconds dial, painted at each corner with figures emblematic of the seasons and a moon phase to the dial, the trunk with arched door flanked by stop fluted columns with gilt capitals above a plinth base ending in bracket feet.
