An assembled celadon glazed stoneware cup and cup stand
Goryeo dynasty, 12th/13th century
The cup of compressed globular form inlaid in white slip with black accents to form four floral sprigs beneath a key-fret band on the exterior curving walls (chip); the more thickly potted cup stand delicately line-incised with lotus plants filling each of the eight lobes on its foliate rim flange, overlapping lotus petals carved to the raised cup support and further leaf scrolls on the conforming tall foot.
