A pair of large two-section bronze urns with dragons
Meiji period, late 19th century
Each of thick double-wall construction and finely cast in high relief with a fierce dragon encircling the tall ovoid body wreathed in swirling clouds above a wide everted rim incised with a key-fret edge band, the waisted pedestal base set into a base formed by a small ring of clouds supported by two of the claws of a large writhing dragon, each with a signed cartouche Seifusai-chu above a kakihan.
