A bronze vase with mixed metal inlay
Hattori Studio, Meiji period
Of slender ovoid shape with a short waisted neck and tapering to a recessed ring foot, decorated to the front with a cockerel perched on a branch of flowering prunus, portions of the design picked out in gold, silver and copper hirazogan, the base with the studio mark (wear to patina).
