The dark framing members of each panel constructed to suspend a now lost central inset panel above and below smaller floating panels of lighter colored wood intricately incised in raised relief in motifs of abstract lotus and bat patterns, one of the edge panels lined with smaller reserves of four of the Eight Immortals with boy attendants (incomplete).
