A group of four celadon glazed ceramics
Song and Yuan period
The first a covered baluster jar of Longquan type with leaf panels incised into the walls of inverted pear form and overlapping petals accenting the elaborately tiered cover; the second a circular censer with horizontally ribbed walls raised on a low circular base surrounded by three applied feet; the third a cup with slightly in-curving walls raised on a short foot with conical recess across the base; the fourth a cup with foliate rim and conforming ribs molded to the interior and exterior walls, the short foot with conical tip to the center of the deeply recessed base (all with wear, glaze crazing and patches of degrading); together with a small duck-shaped covered box displaying a qingbai-style pale blue-green glaze.
