A group of four early ceramic jars
The first, a Neolithic painted pottery jar of Banshan type with flared rim to the neck, red and black-painted roundels and linear borders to the curving shoulder and a pair of strap handles attached at the widest part of the body (repaired); two similar Six dynasties high fired earthenware jars of compressed globular form with upright rims, horizontal bands incised to the shoulder and a pair of applied handles, the glaze layer on the shoulder of one jar displaying a mottled olive hue, but the glaze layer on the second jar extensively degraded (both with chips); the fourth another Six dynasties earthenware of compressed ovoid form with an upright rim and a geometric pattern impressed into a band on the shoulder partially covered by a pale olive green glaze (chips, glaze degraded).

All 'W' lots (listed in the beginning of our printed catalog under the heading 'Lots to be Removed to Storage) along with all other items purchased, if not removed by the above date (March 20, 2013), will be transferred to Box Brothers warehouse. Payment Notices
