The unusually wide and flattened body above three beast head and hoof form-feet and supporting two beast head handles to the sides, the flat underside bearing a six character Xuande mark (large dent to the side, cleaned), supported by a separate bronze base cast in stylized lotus design; together with a further wooden stand and lid carved in ruyi lappet motifs surmounted by a deeply undercut Ming dynasty gray jade finial (wooden stand and lid broken).
