Two jade snuff bottles
Including a pebble form jade snuff bottle of irregular oval contour, fairly well-hollowed through a small drill hole to the top and carved as a ribbon-tied purse, the ribbon extending above a bat carved from the rich russet skin covering some of the surface; and an unusual nephrite snuff bottle of plain pear-shape with a small straight mouth rim and flat narrow base, carved to one side with a chilong crawling upward, his split tail forming an embellishment to the base (losses), the stone a mottled pale brown color, well hollowed (chip to mouth ring).
