The body of the cup naturalistically carved as the largest leaf of a lotus plant curled into high vertical walls terminating in a thin foliate rim of irregularly ovoid section all supported by an undercut base rendered as the lithe smaller tendrils of the lotus stem (some sections re-stuck).
