early 19th/early 20th century
The first oval porcelain plaque of the Madonna and Child after Bartolome Esteban Murillo (Spanish 1617-1682); the second portrait Beatrice Cenci (Italian, 1477-1599) after Guido Reni (Italian 1575-1642), each within carved walnut frame, height of plaques 2 1/2in; portrait miniature of a young woman wearing a gold fillet in hair, triple strand of pearls, and a spray of pansies at her decolletage, signed P. Malgontier, fecit, height of image 3 1/2in and a print of a woman within gilt bronze easel frame, impressed P. Kauffmann, Fine Arts, 1242 Broadway, New York, height of frame 4in.
