A small archive of correspondence from Henry Roth to Canadian author and bookseller Don Bell, who interviewed Roth for CBC and Parallel Magazine. The letters concern plans for the interview and for subsequent meetings. In one letter Roth also comments on a recent trip to Spain, where, "aside from sundry excursions and impressions, I collected a little background toward, but only toward, a future piece of writing," and discusses a piece of collaborative writing done with his wife, Muriel. The lot includes a photocopy of a letter from Bell to Roth.
