realistically carved and painted with jointed neck, padded torso, and articulated arms and hands, his fixed legs mounted on a narrow rectangular wooden base, dressed in a later linen and silk doublet and breeches with gilt metallic braiding, puffed and slash cut decoration and fabric garters, with typical later alterations and refreshed decorations and with losses and fading and wear to the costume, 166cm (65") high
