Persian manuscript on paper, 208 leaves, 21 lines to the page written in four columns of nasta'liq script in black ink, double intercolumnar rules in gold, inner margins ruled in blue, red and gold, headings written in small nasta'liq script in red, catchwords, interspersed panels left blank, intended for miniatures, five illuminated headpieces in colours and gold, first two folios detached and crudely remargined, waterstaining mostly restricted to outer margins, some crude repairs, rather browned, later Qajar floral lacquer binding, covers decorated with branches of apple blossom, wild red roses and primroses on a gold-sprinkled red ground, crackled, rebacked, corners damaged, doublures decorated with narcissi on a black ground
247 x 157 mm.
