A Mughal-style jadeite vase and cover
The delicate body of elegant hu form, supported on a high splayed foot, with high shoulders rising to a lipped rim, finely worked on each side with a seated deity with fiery mandala holding a ritual staff and bouquet of flowers, framed within leafy scrolls with further chysanthemums at the neck, flanked at the shoulders by a pair of loose rings issuing from elaborate handles in the form of chrysanthemums and leafy sprays, the cover similarly depicted and interlinked with a finely worked chain, the semi-translucent stone with apple green striations.
