Finely worked of flattened form, rising from a flared hollowed foot, the bulbous body with vertical ribs waisted at the neck and terminating at a lipped rim, flanked at the neck with two handles formed of 'S'-shaped mythical beasts with serpentine bodies, the body with a series of archaistic ribbed flanges, the white stone with attractive russet veins.
11.8cm high.

    清中期 青白玉出戟扁瓶

    玉質溫潤光澤,部分帶白色斑紋。瓶扁身,橢圓形口,圈足,瓶頸內斂,頸部兩邊飾獸耳,扁圓腹部兩側出戟,瓶身素面,兩面刻兩道筋線紋自口沿至足部而下,線條流暢,曲線優美。

    此扁瓶器形雖小,但造型端莊典雅,簡潔古樸。此瓶亦來自比利•洛斯(Billy Rose)舊藏,後被西雅圖亞洲藝術商Friedlander & Sons收購。
