Mid Qing dynasty
Finely worked of flattened form, rising from a flared hollowed foot, the bulbous body with vertical ribs waisted at the neck and terminating at a lipped rim, flanked at the neck with two handles formed of 'S'-shaped mythical beasts with serpentine bodies, the body with a series of archaistic ribbed flanges, the white stone with attractive russet veins.
