one bar, Algiers (A.Leslie, Surgn). Lightly toned, small edge bruising very fine. (1)


  • Surgeon Andrew Leslie begins his naval career as a Mate serving aboard HMS Caesar from the 15th March 1797 until the 13th October 1798. He is then promoted to Surgeon and serves aboard HMS Hazard from the 14th October 1798 until the 14th October 1803. He joins HMS Culloden from the 15th October 1803 until the 26th November 1803. After a brief period on HMS Terrible he returns to HMS Hazard serving from the 23rd January 1804 until the 10th November 1804. He then serves aboard HMS Niobe from the 27th November 1804 until the 7th December 1810. He then serves on HMS Marlbri until the 30th August 1812 and then to Chatham serving from the 15th September 1812 to the 17th May 1815. He then serves on HMS Argo from the 15th May 1815 until the 5th September 1815, and then serves on HMS Nautilus from the 22nd September 1815 until the 13th March 1816. He finally serves on HMS Severn from the 14th March 1816 until the 2nd December 1816.
