  • Surgeon Commander Robert Enwraight Lauder: M.R.C.P. Eng, L.R.C.P. Lond 1937; Joined the Royal Navy on 1.10.1937, served aboard HMS Black Swan in 1940 then HMS Coventry, promoted to Surgeon Lt Commander in 1944 and served on HMS Hornet and HMS Beachy Head for the remainder of the war. Served on HMS Sydney during the Korean War and was promoted to Acting Surgeon Commander, retired 1959. Served as Civilian Medical Officer H.M.S. Collingwood, Fareham.
