  • Second Lieutenant Reginald Francis Joseph Fairlie served with the Royal Engineers in WW1 and an Architect by trade. He was a member of the Ancient Monumets Board in Scotland and of the Scottish Committe of the Forestry Commission.

    Margaret Fairlie served with the French Red Cross and later the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry. She was emeritus professor of midwifery at the University of St.Andrews, she died on the 12th July 1963, aged 72.
