With Thomas Alexander silver-gilt prize medal (Lieut-Colonel R.F.Bridges. R.A.M.C. 1936 awarded for distinguished work in Pathology.). Very fine. (7)

  • Lieutenant Colonel Robert Francis Bridges was born on the 25th July 1883 at Epsom, Surrey. MB BCh Oxf; MRCS Eng LRCP Lond 1910; Lieutenant 29th July 1910; Captain 29th January 1914; T/Maj 25th February 1918 to 18 May 1919; Major 29th July 1922; Lieutenant Colonel 1st May 1934; retired pay 10th December 1937. Ceased Reserve of Officers 25th July 1938. He died on the 29th March 1951 at Appleford, Berkshire.

    Served in India 1912-20; Afghanistan May to August 1919; India 1924-30 and 1932-37. Specialist in Pathology.
