Royal Household Faithful Service Medal, G.V.R., dated (1910-1930), engraved F.Brant; Royal Victorian Medal, G.V.R. in silver; Coronation 1902, bronze issue; Coronation 1911; Jubilee 1935; Belgium, Royal Household Medal; Prussia, Medal of the Royal Order of the Crown; Norway, King's commemoration medal; Russia, Medal for Zeal; Denmark, Medal of Recompense; Sweden, Royal Household Medal; Portugal, Coronation Medal; Persia, Medal of the Order of the Rising Sun; Afghanistan, Amanullah Medal. Court mounted as worn. With copy photograph of him in uniform wearing the medals. Some light polishing, otherwise very fine or better. (14)

    Frederick Brant was born in 1873, he entered Royal Service in July 1897 and retired as Head Porter in 1936. He died on the 6th August 1940.

    The lot comes with assorted original paperwork as follows: Certificate for the Royal Victorian Medal dated 20th July 1936, Jubilee 1935 certificate, letter from Sandringham thanking him for the service during the Coronation 1937 year, letter giving him permission to wear the Afghanistan Medal, certificate for the Belgian medal, certificate for the Russian medal.
