The Most Honourable Order of the Bath, C.B., Military Division, Companion's neck badge, in silver-gilt and enamel; Kaisar-I-Hind, G.V.R., first type in gold, with top suspension; India General Service 1854-95, one bar, Waziristan 1894-5 (Surg Lieut P.B.Haig 2nd Punjab Infy); India General Service 1895-1902, one bar, Punjab Frontier 1897-98 (Surg: Capt P.R.Haig 21st Pjb Infy); East and Central Africa 1897-99, one bar, Uganda 1899 (Capt P.B.Haig. Uganda. Rif:); Africa General Service 1902-56, one bar, Uganda 1900 (Capt:P.B.Haig. I.M.S.); 1914-15 Star (Lt.Col.P.B.Haig I.M.S.); British War and Victory Medal with MID oakleaf (Lt Col P.B.Haig.); Delhi Durbar 1911.     Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Balfour Haig (christened Patrick James Haig) was born on 25th August 1866 he was educated at Loretto School, Edinburgh University and Paris. M.B. C.M. Ed 1889. M.R.C.S. 1891. L.R.C.P. London 1891; Surgeon Lieutenant 27th July 1892; Surgeon Captain 27th July 1895; Major 27th July 1904; Lieutenant Colonel 27th July 1912. S.List 15th October 1918. Retired 16th March 1921.

    He served in Waziristan from 1894-95, North Est Fronier India 1897-98, Malakand and Utman Khel, Biner, action of Tangi Pass; Uganda 1899 operations against rebels and sudanese Mutineers in Ungaro, final defeat and capture of Kings Kabarega and Mwanga; Uganda 1900, operations against Nandi Tribes.
