George III Interest,
a silk and bullion badge worn on court dress by a Mr Thos Kesteven at the Golden Jubilee of King George III in 1810, in the form of GR and 50 surmounted by a crown, housed in an old envelope; together with a fragment of a sword knot with note 'a bit of King George the third's sword knot picked up by Mr Kesteven in Drury Lane Theatre the night he was shot at 1795'. The 1795 is crossed out and Hadfield May 1800 is written in pencil over it. (Lot)
