With browned octagonal sighted barrels each signed in full along the top flat, case-hardened breeches each engraved with a leopard's mask and with two platinum lines and pierced platinum plug, foliate scroll engraved case-hardened tangs each with swept nipple-shield, signed border engraved case-hardened detented back-action locks and dolphin hammers decorated en suite, the internal working parts retaining their original blued and burnished finish, blued engraved safety-catches, highly figured half-stocks with chequered rounded butts, border engraved steel mounts decorated with scrolling foliage and comprising case-hardened butt-caps and trigger-plate, the latter each with pineapple-shaped finial, blued spur trigger-guards, blued rear ramrod-pipes, vacant silver escutcheons and barrel-bolt escutcheons, set triggers, horn fore-end caps, brass-mounted ramrods, and in fine condition retaining virtually all their original finish: in original lined and fitted mahogany case (lid missing) with accessories including unusual brass-mounted two-way powder-flask with cylindrical body, the base with threaded circular cover, London proof marks

Buyers' Premium and Charges

A successful bidder at this sale will be required to pay Bonhams 1793 Limited ("Bonhams") a premium calculated as follows:
25% on the first £100,000 of the hammer price
20% on the excess of £100,001 and up to £2,000,000 of the hammer price
12% on the excess of £2,000,001 of the hammer price

VAT at 20% will be payable on the amount of the premium.

The premium is payable for the services to be provided by Bonhams in the Buyer's Agreement which is contained in the catalogue for this Sale and for the opportunity to bid for the Lot at the Sale.

Payment Notices

Payment in advance: by cash, cheque with banker's card, credit card, bank draft or traveller's cheque.

Payment at collection: by credit or debit card.
