With reblued multi-faceted barrels with silver fore-sight, long octagonal breeches signed in silver within punched silver borders and each inlaid with incised silver foliage at the rear, gold-lined touch-holes, grooved engraved tang, bright border engraved flat bevelled locks in the English fashion, signed in script and each decorated with a palm tree and with birds on the tail, engraved steels and swept cocks, and rollers, figured half-stock inlaid with silver wire around the lock cavities, barrel tang and butt, butt (comb repaired, escutcheon removed) with cheek-piece and chequered grip, border engraved silver heel mount and strap over the wooden spur trigger-guard, the latter with engraved urn-shaped finial, steel sling loops, silver ramrod-pipes, and later ramrod
