An Edwardian enamelled silver tazza
by E.S. Barnsley & Co, Birmingham 1909
The plain bowl decorated in blue enamel with floral motifs between twin bands, inverted baluster stem, raised on a spreading circular base enamelled in a similar manner, height 10.5cm, together with an Edwardian silver two-handled basket, by Aitkin Bros, Sheffield 1905, flaring octofoil form with scalloped rim, the body embossed with husk swags over a pierced lattice-work ground, on a spreading circular base, length 34.5cm, another Continental silver two-handled basket, with import marks for 1899, oval form with undulating scroll rim, the body pierced and embossed with classical portrait panels between ribboned husk swags on a pierced lattice-work ground, length 24cm, a pair of silver dishes by Elkington & Co, London 1913, circular form with egg & dart rim, the bodies pierced with a border of floral sprays between oval reserves, the centre pierced with scrolls between stylised heart motifs, on plain detachable waisted stands, diameter 17.5cm, another pierced dish, Sheffield 1933, a panelled pedestal dish, by Charles Boyton & Sons, Sheffield 1912 and an Art Deco tea strainer and stand, Birmingham 1934, weight total 86oz.
