Baluster form with applied girdle, bayonet fastening cover with knop finial, upper band of pierced stylised flowers, the lower band with blind pierced scroll work, height 17.5cm, two other small casters, one maker's mark indistinct, possibly Starling Wilford or Samuel Welder, see Jacksons 3803, London 1724, the second by Samuel Welles, London 1749, both of conventional form, one crested, a George III silver drum mustard pot, by William Allen III, London 1799, with reeded rims and skirted foot, flat cover crested, with clear glass liner, together with a pair of silver cauldron salts, possibly for David Hennell I, London 1742, conventional form.
