An 18th century French School portrait miniature of a lady holding a cello
circa 1770
Painted on ivory within a reeded gilt frame and mounted on a circular tortoiseshell box with waisted sides; length of miniature 5cm; together with an early/mid-20th century German silver and enamelled vesta, probably by Louis Kuppenheim, Pforzheim, rounded rectangular form with white enamelled rims, blue cabochon thumbpiece and husk borders, the front with blue enamelled panel applied with five gold fleur de lys, striker to underside, length 4.3cm. (3)
