King's shape, double struck with leaf scroll border capped with shell motif, "C" scroll cartouche below, the front initialled, with trailing acanthus leaf below, all pieces engraved with the same script initials JM
Eighteen table forks, eighteen table spoons, eighteen dessert forks, eighteen dessert spoons, twelve teaspoons, six egg spoons, one mustard spoon, four salt spoons, a pair of sugar tongs, a butter knife, two fruit spoons, a soup ladle, a basting spoon, a pair of grape scissors, a pair of asparagus tongs, a cream ladle, a sifter spoon, two pairs of nut crackers with spiral handles,
together with twelve pairs of fruit knives and forks, with plain mother of pearl handles, twelve pairs of fish knives and forks, with plain ivory handles, these also impressed with RD number 71552, a pair of fish servers with ivory handles,
also with matched American silver handle knives and a four-piece carving set, impressed BIRKS STERLING, comprising eighteen table knives and twelve dessert knives.
Contained in an oak canteen, the two front doors opening to reveal six fitted draws with brass campaign handles..
