Inverted-egg form with acanthus leaf and dart borders and leaf-capped scroll handles, the lower body with band of flat-chased acanthus leaves, raised on a circular foot, lacking cover, height 22cm; together with a two-handled cup, by Alfred James How, London 1922, leaf-capped flying scroll handles, the body engraved with presentation inscription to one side and list of recipients to the other, with applied reeded girdle and raised on a domed circular foot, height 25cm, weight total 51.5oz.
