A pair of George III Irish silver salts

Circular form with flaring gadrooned rims, the lower body chased with floral and fruiting scrolls below an applied gadrooned girdle, raised on three lion mask embellished paw feet, crested, diameter 8.5cm, together with a pair of casters, by H. Matthews, Birmingham 1895, modelled as octagonal panelled hunting horns, pierced dome covers, with duck mask terminals and scrolling handle and feet, height 14cm, weight 23oz. (4)
