A pair of George IV silver candlesticks
by John Watson & Son, Sheffield 1820
The detachable nozzles applied with leaf and scroll decoration and each engraved twice with a crest, tulip-shaped fluted capitals applied with acanthus leaves and tapering fluted stem, raised on a circular foot profusely cast with c-scrolls and acanthus leaves, the stems each engraved with a crest, height 28.3cm, weight 65.5oz. (2)
