A pale shibuichi tsuba
Attributed to Morikawa Masakage (died c.1875), Tanaka School, 19th century
Of rounded rectangular form with raised rim, carved and inlaid with a scene of long life, showing cranes and a minogame around Mount Horai, details in gold, silver and shakudo takazogan, signed Hojusai Masakage with kao on reverse.
