A large celadon-glazed dish
14th/15th century
Heavily potted with an everted barbed rim, the domed centre moulded with geometric patterns encircled by a band of scrolling floral sprays, the underside with moulded petal panels, all under a rich even olive-green glaze with a burnt orange ring on the base. 44cm (17in) diam.
