A rare three-rotor Enigma enciphering machine, German, circa 1940-41,
stamped on baseplate 8081. complete with original I, II and III rotors and matching serial numbers (the first 8 in each case defaced), standard QWERTZ keyboard with keys with white lettering on black background, battery switch, vacant battery box, complete set of bulbs, ebonite plug board, set of plug board cables, set of instructions applied to the lid interior together with spare bulb rack, in oak carrying case with hinged lid and fall front with locking mechanism, the case when closed 13 by 10¾ by 6in (33 by 17.3 by 15cm)
